At Home
I had stayed up late playing a new game. When tiredness finally caught up to me, I turn the game off to go to bed. Soon as I sit the controller down, I hear thunder outside. Thinking it will rain, I remember my cat is still outside. So, I quickly head out the back door, not bothering to put on my socks or shoes, and go out to look and call for him. While searching, a flash of lightning goes off above me and draws my gaze skyward. And I am then shocked by what I see. A large, circular-shaped UFO was silently hovering directly above me. The belly of this craft, being all I can see, had a very intricate, light blue glowing pattern all over it. The glow it gave off was very dim and I hadn't noticed it before as it had been drowned out by a near by street light. Lightning streaks across the storm clouds above it as I continue to stare at it with amazement. Then the near by street light then suddenly turns off. I look to where the street light should be, but all I can now see is the light the ship is giving off. And I start to feel uneasy. I immediately look back at the ship and see its glowing pattern turn brighter. A wave of fear then comes over me, and I start to slowly back away towards the back door of my home. A set of high beam lights around the rim of the UFO's underside suddenly turn on and I am encompassing by them. I immediately lose all strength in my legs and fall backwards onto the ground. It began to feel as if gravity was intensifying and I could hardly sit up or even move. A hatch at the center of the ship's belly opens and bright beam of white light immediately shoots out of it onto me. As soon as it struck me, I blacked out.

Captive On Board
I awake laying on the floor in the middle of an enclosed chamber. I quickly sit up, startled to find myself somewhere I didn't want to be. As I look around, I can see that the chamber was the shape of a cylinder being about 7 feet in height and 6 feet in diameter. It had a single white band of dim light going all the way around it along the wall just above the floor. The ceiling was grated with circles and the floor was solid and seemingly cushioned like a matte. And the color of whole place seemed to be black. The feel was almost like being surrounded by a void with only the light breaking it. After the shock I was in wore off some, I then notice that I am wearing something other than my own clothing. There were these black, metal bands around my wrists and ankles. And I could feel that I also had one around my neck as well. As much as I wanted to take them off, I feared what would happen if I tried to. So, I left them alone. Looking around the chamber with greater scrutiny, I realized there didn't seem to be a door anywhere. I decide to get up to go and see if I could feel for one along the walls. As soon as I am on my feet, the bands I am wearing suddenly glow a bright blue. My strength immediately feels like it's being drained out of me and I collapse back down onto the floor onto my hands and knees. The bands then stop glowing and my strength returns. It occurs to me that the bands I am wearing were shackles of some sort. And with the feeling of them depriving me of my strength being unpleasant, I decide to sit myself back down and make no more attempts to move around the chamber. I then start to hear a mechanical humming sound, as if something had turned on outside of the chamber. I then feel a flow of air coming in from above me. I look up towards the grated ceiling, and I can see a fine mist seeping in through it. Thinking that this mist might cause me harm or even death, I panic in terror. And for whatever reason, I decide to try and crawl to one side of the chamber, hoping to somehow avoid the mist. But I am quickly reminded of the bands I am wearing as they glow once again and I fall down onto my stomach. The mist came into the chamber quickly, and by the time the bands stopped glowing it had already filled the whole place. My strength did not return to me this time and I can now hardly move at all. And my vision had blurred somewhat. The chamber's lights then turn off and all is now pitch darkness. But I am still conscious and very afraid. A short time later, the door to the chamber opens.

Encounter
My head is turned away from where the door opens, but I can just make out a faint amount of light coming in through it. The way the light was cast onto the wall made it seemed as if one whole side of the chamber had opened up. I then see two shadows come into the casting light and I could hear whom or whatever they were come into the chamber. Once in, the door shuts behind them. The lights inside the chamber remained off leaving everything dark. But I could hear them coming ever closer towards me. They stopped after reaching right next to me. And then I felt the matted floor dip down as if they had knelt down beside me. They were now so close to me that I could feel the warmth coming off of them. I am so afraid at this point that I am nearly hyperventilating. But then something comes over me, and I begin my  breathing down begins to slow down. An overpowering feeling that I was safe had taken over me and I begin to feel calm. I had figured they were telepathically influencing me to do so. But I did nothing to fight it and elected to give into to it as feeling this way was better than being scarred out of my mind. I then hear them handling something and then feel something pierce into my arm that was closest to them. I gasped at the sudden tinge of pain. But the pain quickly left and the sense of remaining calm never left me. I wasn't too sure what it was exactly that had pierced into my arm. But it had done so at an angle and it felt as big around as a magic marker with an array of small sharp pins at the end of it going into my flesh. It was held in place, and soon my body began to go numb. And I started to feel completely dazed. And then, I lose consciousness.

Aftermath
I awake and find myself back home in my bed. At first I wasn't aware that anything had happened. But slowly, everything started to come back to me. I had no recollection of how or when I had returned. I pull off my bed sheets and see I am still wearing the same clothes I had on before. I go over and grab my cell phone off of my dresser to check the time and date. I can see I had only been gone for the night and that I was up at my usual time of day. I then begin to wonder if anyone had seen or heard anything last night. Before heading out my bedroom door, I pause to look at myself in the mirror to see if there was anything noticeably different about me. I could see nothing and went on ahead. I could hear the TV was on in the living room. My mother who lives with me was already up watching it. As I walk by her, I ask her if she had heard the storm last night. She said no and that she must have slept through it. Then I question her if she had seen my cat. She said yes and that she had let him in when she got up this morning and that he was in her room asleep on her bed. I went into her room to go see him. I pet him on the head to wake him up. He greeted me the same as always with a yawn and returning back to sleep. I then head for the kitchen to feed my mother's dogs. I was relieved they also didn't act any differently around me as I handed them their food bowls. As I go about the rest of my day, I hear no talk of anything unusual occurring last night from anyone. I so greatly wanted to say something about what had happened to me. But I knew what would happen if I did and I didn't want that. So, I made myself believe it was all just a dream. But still, the side of me that would not let go of it being real couldn't help but wonder what it was they had done to me and why and if they might come back.
Please excuse any grammar mistakes I might have made with this as I am not a professional writer. Anyways, I have tried to refine this story a fair amount since I last posted it. I am not sure if it's really any better, but I hope it is.
